I was doing the modeling for our game, we going for a wild west style horror game so I make some models of a old school wild west buildings with texture, things like saloons, sheriff’s offices, and wooden houses. We aiming for a PS1 style inspired look. I need to do some of the reseach on the buildings and PS1 style texture feel on the model.

Modeling:

I start with looking on reference on google and model it base on the reference image. I try keeping the polycount low as posible as we going for the PS1 style.

Texturing:

For the texturing part its a bit tricky for me at first I made a wood texture in photoshop for the building's walls. It didn't look right because I was using higher-resolution textures. After doing some reseach on PS1 textures which I learned that most ps1 textures used 128 x 128 or 256 x 256 pixels. I adjusted the resolution of the textures its looks much better than it was before.
